3. Area nightclubs and open mic nights are excellent for trying our your material before a live audience.

4. You may want to join one of the Texas Music Associations and Unions.

5. Familiarize yourself with Copyrights, Trademarks and General Music Business Information.

6. Contact a CD manufacturer to produce professional quality copies of your demos.

7. A music publisher will help you to get your songs to artists and producers. In some cases you can reach an artist through their management. The Texas Talent Register provides contact information for performers across the state.
