National Wear Red Day

Sponsored by the American Heart Association and its Go Red for Women initiative, National Wear Red Day was held February 4, 2005.

National Wear Red Day is an annual awareness-raising event to help spread the important messages about women and heart health. Corporations encourage employees to pay $5 and wear jeans and red to work; the money goes to support education and research about women and heart disease.
