Agriculture
The Texas Agricultural Experiment Station - Conducts research programs that support the state's agricultural and natural resource industries. Links to grant opportunities.
General Land Office - Each year, the Coastal Coordination Council makes available approximately $1.8 million in federal Coastal Management Program (CMP) funds to coastal communities for coastal projects. The grants program funds construction, land acquisition, engineering, educational, research, mapping, and planning projects that address the goals and policies of the CMP and are located within the CMP boundary or have a direct and significant effect within the boundary. Eligible entities include local governments, public universities, nonprofit organizations, regional governments, state agencies, and estuary programs.

Secretary of State Colonia website - The Colonia Initiatives Program is part of the Texas Border and Mexican Affairs Division of the Secretary of State's Office. Program coordinators serve as advocates among border colonia residents, state agencies, local governments and utility companies to ensure residents are connected to water and wastewater services in the most efficient and timely manner possible.
Colonias Program - The Center for Housing and Urban Development College of Architecture Texas A&M University is designed to assist residents of low income settlements, or colonias in improving the quality of their lives.
