Statement of Governor Rick Perry On the Supreme Court's Review of Texas Redistricting

AUSTIN - Governor Rick Perry today issued the following statement on the Supreme Court’s decision to review Texas congressional redistricting:

“We welcome this review by the U.S. Supreme Court because we believe the Texas remap is constitutional, as lower courts and the U.S. Department of Justice affirmed. We remain confident that the Supreme Court will find that every Texas voter has a voice at the ballot box.”
