Gov. Perry Names Bray Presiding Officer of Manufactured Housing Board

AUSTIN – Gov. Rick Perry named Michael Bray of El Paso presiding officer of the Manufactured Housing Board for a term to expire at the pleasure of the governor. The board regulates the manufactured housing industry in Texas.

Bray is a Realtor with Prudential BKB Realtors. He is a regional vice president of the Texas Association of Realtors and member of the Texas Association of Local Housing Finance Agencies. Additionally, he is president of the El Paso Property Finance Authority, vice president of the El Paso Housing Finance Corp. and a past vice president of Habitat for Humanity. He also volunteers with Christmas in April and Project Bravo.

Bray received a bachelor’s degree from the University of Texas at El Paso. He replaces Valeri Stiers Malone of Holliday as presiding officer.
