Gov. Perry Appoints James to Upper Neches River Municipal Water Authority Board of Directors

AUSTIN – Gov. Rick Perry appointed William Barry James of Palestine to the Upper Neches River Municipal Water Authority Board of Directors for a term to expire Feb. 1, 2013. The authority stores, controls, conserves and protects the waters of the Upper Neches River.

James is an orthodontist and co-owner of James Orthodontics, Inc. He is a member of the American Association of Orthodontists, Southwestern Society of Orthodontists and American Board of Orthodontics. He is also a committee member and past board member of the Coon Creek Club. Additionally, he is a former recipient of the American Cancer Society Trailblazer Awards and past member of the Texas Forestry Association.

James received a bachelor’s degree, master’s degree in dentistry and doctorate in dental surgery from Baylor University. He replaces Joe M. Crutcher of Palestine.
