Governor Perry Names Broaddus Presiding Officer of the Camino Real Regional Mobility Authority
AUSTIN – Gov. Rick Perry has named John Broaddus of El Paso as Presiding Officer of the Camino Real Regional Mobility Authority (CRRMA) for a term to expire February 1, 2009. The purpose of the CRRMA is to construct, maintain, and operate CRRMA projects in the El Paso region.
Broaddus is a certified public accountant and partner of Dunbar Broaddus Gibson, L.L.P. He was formerly a manager for Peat Marwick Mitchell and a staff accountant for Coppers & Lybrand. Broaddus serves on the executive board of directors for Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants (TSCPA) and board of directors for the El Paso Chapter of TSCPA. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the El Paso Estate Planning Council and is past president of the El Paso Art Alliance, El Paso Chapter TSCPA, and Sunturians. He also volunteers on the board of directors for YMCA and St. Clements School capital campaign.
Broaddus received a bachelor’s degree from Southern Methodist University and a master’s from the University of Texas.
