Gov. Perry Appoints Daniel Mills as Judge of 424th Judicial District Court

AUSTIN – Gov. Rick Perry today announced the appointment of Dan H. Mills of Johnson City as judge of the 424th Judicial District court serving Blanco, Burnet, Llano and San Saba counties. Mills will serve for a term until the next general election.

Dan Mills is an Assistant United States Attorney for the Western District of Texas, Austin division, where he has served for more than 18 years. Previously in his career, he served as Assistant Attorney General of Texas for more than seven years and was an Assistant City Attorney for the City of Austin. He is a member of the State Bar of Texas.

A graduate of the University of Texas at Austin, Mills received a law degree from the University of Houston Law School.
