A&M University at Commerce offers two undergraduate degrees in music (Bachelor
of Science and Bachelor of Music) and one master degree in music (Master of Music).
Teaching certification is available for elementary and secondary school levels.
Performance opportunities include two wind ensembles, university choir, marching
band, chorale, chamber singers, and jazz improvisation ensembles. Smaller instrumental
and vocal ensembles are organized yearly to give students the opportunity to perform
more specialized types of literature. Performance facilities include the University
Auditorium (1,200 seats) and Concert Hall (300 seats).
