Sons of Hermann Hall is open Wednesday-Saturday except when special events demand extended days open. Wednesday 5 p.m.-12 a.m. with legal happy hour 5 p.m.-8 p.m., German singing and Gemuetlichkeit from 7:30-9:00 p.m., jazz swing lessons at 9 p.m. and dance from 10 p.m.-12 a.m.; Thursday 5 p.m.-12 a.m. with electric campfire acoustic jam from 6 p.m.-12 a.m. Friday 5 p.m.-12:30 a.m.; and Saturday 5 p.m.-1 a.m. Concerts by the best of Texas music artists, soon to be well-known artists, and national artists. Special events for every occasion. The upstairs ballroom features a 500 square-foot hardwood dance floor, stage, bar and seating for up to 275 people. Built in 1911, located between Deep Ellum and Fair Park at 3414 Elm Street, The Sons of Hermann Hall evokes a bygone era of Texas Dancehalls and Saturday night socials. In-house sound includes PA system with a 32-channel Allen and Heath console. Our venue has been used for audio recordings, photography shoots, movies, commercials, TV mini series and music videos, as well as corporate meetings, wedding, wakes, receptions, birthdays, anniversaries and most other intimate gatherings.
