Music City Texas Theater is a nonprofit organization and intimate concert venue located in the Piney Woods of East Texas. MCT boasts the stage where hometown icon Don Henley of The Eagles first discovered his love for music. Recent performers include Henley, Jackson Browne, who noted the "incredible vibes" of the Theater, Marty Stuart, The Bellamy Brothers, and many local, regional, and overseas performers who share the same passion for great live music.The Theater celebrates Linden�s rich musical history as birthplace of "Father of Ragtime" Scott Joplin and "Daddy of the Blues," T-Bone Walker. Music City Texas is also home to the Texas Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. The First Saturday of every month MCT President and gold record artist Richard Bowden with Moon & the Starz perform a musical comedy act unlike any other. Theater operation hours are Monday-Friday 10A.M. to 3P.M.

Palestine Civic Center is a multipurpose facility featuring a 9,500 square foot auditorium (1,376 seats), a meeting room, two breakout rooms, a large foyer, plenty of exhibit space and extensive parking area. In-house sound and lighting available. Dogwood Jamboree presents quarterly country music concerts at the facility; gospel concerts and additonal entertainment are featured periodically.
