Tell us what you're looking for and we'll find it in Texas. Our experienced location department can be your guide to the Texas terrain. With TEXscout (SM), our Web-based location management system, we can quickly assemble and deliver a personalized location package. If you like what you see, we can help you arrange a scout.

PERMITS

In general, the State of Texas does not require film permits. However, local governments require permits to film on most city-owned properties, including city streets and parks. Our location department can put you in touch with the right offices to arrange permission and start the permit process.

LIAISON

State Property Use
If you are interested in shooting at any property owned and/or operated by the State of Texas, the Texas Film Commission must be your first call. We will help you determine which locations suit your project, navigate you through the many rules and restrictions for filming at these facilities, as well as act as your liaison to the appropriate state agencies. We can also connect you to the appropriate people at municipalities for filming on city- and county-owned property.
