Guitar Hero III : Legends of Rock is the third iteration of the popular Guitar Hero game series, made available on the personal computer for the first time by Aspyr Media. Released in November 2007, the game allows users to play more than 70 legendary rock songs, including master tracks of Even Flow and Welcome to the Jungle. Players can use their keyboard or an external controller shaped like an X-Plorer guitar to battle along-side other users or by themselves. There's also an opportunity to challenge the guitar skills of Slash and other rock legends.

Aspyr Media is a leading video game publisher and developer based in Austin, Texas. Although they're primarily known for their PC and Mac games, they've also produced titles for consoles and mobile devices. Some of their previous games include Harry Potter Deluxe, Dreamfall: The Longest Journey, and multiple editions of the Sims game franchise. Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock will be available for Mac in mid-December.
