The Austin Community College Video Game Development Program was designed and developed by leaders in the Austin video game industry, under the direction of the ACC Video Game Advisory Board. The Program offers two year and certificate degrees, and the courses are taught by industry professionals. Designed to make game developers out of novices and professionals alike, ACC offers a comprehensive approach towards learning what's needed to be successful in video game development.

Xenomarines
Xenomarines is an unreal tournament 2004 multiplayer mod pitting space aliens against marines in a desperate struggle to control earth's orbital waste processing plant. Both the marines and aliens each have a unique play style and goal for winning the game. Marine players are heavily armored and get to choose what special equipment they want to bring into the level to help the team. Their goal is to destroy all of the alien spawn points. Alien players are quick, can leap 30 feet into the air, and are deadly in close combat. Their goal is to beat the marines to the processing plant. Teamwork is essential in this fast paced game! This game was created in the Video Game Design III course.

Medical Records Rampage
Medical Record Rampage is a fast paced, time based, vehicle adventure. The player is having an average day at work, when they get a frantic call to bring a medical chart to the front desk. They must follow the medical chart cart around and "clean up" the office, all while watching the clock. Interesting puzzles must be solved and the nurses at the front desk must be reached before time runs out. Medical Records Rampage uses a free engine called Can Do Interactive that allows for a wide variety of driving based games. This game was created in 3D Modeling I World Building course.
