Agent/Distributor search service

The Agent/Distributor search service provides Texas companies with:

  • Profile of 5-7 Mexican distributors that after being informed of the interest of the Texas company are seeking to meet with it to discuss a potential business partnership.
  • Database of all Mexican companies contacted.
  • Database of all Mexican companies interested in getting information about the Texas company.
  • Comments form the Mexican companies on the market situation for its products.
  • Should there be a market analysis from the US Commercial Service in the Texas company's industrial sector, we will enclose it too.

The distributor/agent search service is the most cost - effective way to explore the potential of the Mexico market for small and medium size manufacturing companies. The service is provided at no fees. To ensure your information reaches the Mexican potential distributors, the NAFTA Office has adopted the policy of sending such information via private delivery mail services.

Such costs of sending information to Mexican companies, has to be covered by the Texas company and the cost is U.S $300. Checks should be made payable to the "State of Texas NAFTA Office" and mailed to:

STNO follows up with Texas companies successes and contacts them every three months for one year. If your company is focusing its efforts on exporting to Mexico, you need to complete a questionnaire 2, and return it to the STNO.

Your confidential information will be used as a guide to assist in our agent/distributor search. Your company is encouraged to provide us with 30-40 catalogs/brochures, and to make travel arrangements for Mexico in order to evaluate a suitable company, either by visiting their offices or by making appointments at the STNO facilities. This service will be provided on a first-come first-served basis.
