Promotion of investment opportunities in Texas Communities

In collaboration with EDT's Domestic Expansion and Recruitment, the State of Texas NAFTA Office will provide specific information on community's site location facilities and state fiscal and/or incentives for the Mexican companies interested in investing opportunities.

General information, contacts, and lists from commercial libraries and databases

Upon your request, the State of Texas Mexico Office will provide and forward information on a specific industrial sector and/or a list of distributors, as well as arranging appointment in Mexico.

Government liaisons

The State of Texas NAFTA Office (STNO) will forward names of government officials responsible for specific industrial sectors in Mexico. STNO will also arrange appointments when requested.

Orientation on the general legal business environment

Upon your request, this office will provide a package with information regarding the general legal business environment in Mexico.

Use of the State of Texas-NAFTA Office facilities

To initiate business contacts in Mexico, our facilities will be provided to small and medium size companies.

Our facilities include a conference room, phone and computer equipment. State of Texas agencies and communities may also use the conference room for business or government related needs. The use of the State of Texas NAFTA Office facilities will be provided on a first-come-first-serve basis.

Hotel arrangements at special rates for business trips to Mexico

The State of Texas NAFTA Office has reached an agreement with the Maria Isabel Sheraton Hotel to offer special rates for Texas residents on business trips into Mexico City. Our office can also provide you with information on alternative accommodations.

Most of these services are provided at no fees.
