Tips to Achieve Accessibility in Documents and Communications
Persons with disabilities sometimes experience accessibility barriers when trying to read information or listen to conversations. Here are some resources for increasing access in documents and communication.

To send a file, save the document as a "TEXT FILE” and paste it into the body of your message or attach it as a separate file.
Computer Disk
Transfer materials to disk using a text or ASCII file. Consult with the user requesting materials.
Large Print
If your document is generated by a computer, change the font size to 14 point or higher and reprint. You may need to reformat your document. The same effect can be achieved by a copy machine by enlarging the document and recopying.

Telephone Relay Services
Dial 7-1-1 to reach a Relay Operator who will facilitate communication with a person who is deaf, hard of hearing and uses a TDD. You can request Speech to Speech relay services to facilitate communication with individuals who have speech disabilities. Encourage all Relay Users to dial 9-1-1 for Emergency Calls.
