Accessible Parking

Temporary Parking HB 3588:
A new law prohibits parking an unauthorized vehicle in an accessible space temporarily unless receiving or discharging passengers. This means that unauthorized vehicles making deliveries of goods cannot park in accessible spaces. -
Access Aisles HB 1784:
A person commits an offense if the person parks a vehicle so that it blocks an access aisle or curb ramp. Violation of this law may result in a fine that ranges from $250 to $500. Report parking violations to your local law enforcement agency. -
Counterfeit Placards HB 148:
A new law prohibits the manufacture, sale, possession or use of a counterfeit placard. A person commits an offense if the person knowingly parks a vehicle displaying a counterfeit placard in a parking space or area designated specifically for persons with disabilities.
